We beat the scum 1-0!

Charlton Athletic finally won their first league game since October 4th over their south east london rivals Crystal Palace. Matthew Spring opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a volley from 12 yards. Charlton held on to secure their first league victory in 19 league games, and it certainly awakened The Valley faithful. Their whole trips home were filled with car horns blaring, and drunken songs blasting through the pub doors and windows. Phil Parkinson had this to say "This is the first step to securing survival in this league"

    Cheers lol it really would though, dreading seeing them relegated 2 times in 3 years, my heart was broken when we were relegated from prem, I cried all that night.
