I have started a new game on FM2008 with S****horpe United. In my first season, I aim to finish top-half, maybe at a push make the play-offs. To achieve this, I have made the following transfer deals:



The sale of Joe Murphy was not one that I wanted to do, but £1,000,000 for a player worth £200,000 is not bad at all, especially looking at my finances. I brought in Jimmy Walker on the last day, due to the very late sale of Murphy. In the games Jimmy has played, he has done very well, including a clean sheet on his debut vs preston, where for 30 minutes we had just 8 players on the pitch, yes thats right, 8! At the moment I am 1st, with 5 games played, I have won all 5! I am very pleased with the transfers I made, all 5 new players are 1st team regulars, Wade Elliot has been fantastic on the right wing, Syefo Soley is a brilliant anchorman between midfield and defence, Walter Centeno has been outstanding in the middle of the park, along with Chinese new boy, Li Tie.
