I'm going to have to as Huddlestone has suddenly decided to become absolutely crap.
Also considering buying Akinfeev because Frey has been truly awful at times this season. Although I will give him half a season behind my new defence

2008/2009 End of season review. Tottenham in the English Premier League
Media Prediction: Fifth My Prediction: Fifth Final position: 3rd Well it was a fairly succesful season. We were in contention for the title right up to the second to last game of the season. We actually led up into early March. So it was a bit of a dissapointment to slip of the pace. But to be fair we didn't really have that much depth. Which was notable when Key Player, Luka Modric was injured from January to early March. We really struggled for consistency. This period, along with a sloppy period before December ultimately cost us the title. Another prominent factor in us losing our foothold were the abject performances of Tom Huddlestone and Sebastien Frey. Time after time these two cost us important goals in important matches. Not least Frey who cost us the lead in the One-Nil loss to Arsenal which handed them a Seven point lead in early April. However. Where there were the bad performers, there were the good performers. And one very pleasing performer was the Mexican superstar Giovani Dos Santos. After being on loan at Brazilian side Internacional he came back and slotted into my new formation with minimal fuss. Scoring and assisting at crucial times. Including setting up three goals in a Four One trouncing of Liverpool.. Top goal scorer was agin Dimitar Berbatov. Who this year notched 46 in 58 games. Big games of the League season were the Two One victory over Manchester United And the Four One victory over Liverpool. In other news Sergio Aguero won Premier League young player of the year award. With Gareth Bale and Dos Santos finishing second and third respectively. A good result coming third in my opinion. The Cups. EURO Cup: Runner Up Vs Inter FA Cup: Winners vs Chelsea League Cup: 3rd Round vs Blackburn European Supercup: Winners vs Lyon Well a mixed bag in the cups. Lost in the Third round of the League cup, after playing my entire youth team. We lost to Blackburn One-Nil. We managed to beat Lyon Two Nil after a vintage display from the team. And two goals to Aguero. Our EURO cup group consisted of Rangers, Sparta Prague, CFR Cluj and Recreativo. We swept through the group undefeated. Although we suffered a majour scare beating Rangers 3-2 after an epic second half come back. In the knock out rounds we never were in any danger. With some great performances, including a 5-1 thrashing of Pompey in the second knock out round. However when we got to the semi finals I found out to my dismay that we would either be playing Inter Milan or Juventus. I could smell defeat there and then. And after we beat Newcastle in the Semi's defeat is exactly what we got. Losing Two-One to an Inter side who were Two nil up after 5 minutes. It was only after a late goal from Gareth Bale did it give the score sheet some credibility on our part. Our FA cup run was truly special. We started slowly against a very bad Watford side. Only managing to win Three-One after going behind after only Two minutes. in the next round we smashed Charlton 5-1 thanks to a hatrick from Young Prodigy Jose Baxter. Then the magic began. In the fifth round we drew Man Utd. It was a very controlled game from us. With first Luka Modric scoring. And then Sergio Aguero scored late on to give us a Historical Two Nil win. In the sicth round, we smashed Liverpool Three Nil after Two goals from Dos Santos and a stunning strike from Sergio Aguero sent the Scousers packing. We struck lucky for the Semi Final draw. Picking up Burnley. We then dispatched of them 4-2. And if the Two wins against Liverpool and United were special then the Final was pure magic. A high paced, drama fuelled final. Complete with three sendings off and a missed penalty in the last minute from Lampard. A 122nd minute goal from Dimitar Berbatov gifted the FA cup to Spurs. And it was deserved as well. Made up for the heart brake against Inter. League Table Star Player Aims for next season My sole aim and only thing I will be aiming for next season is the Title. If I can sign a new left winger , most likely Hatem Ben Arfa, I feel my midfield and attack will be that much sharper and we should be able to finally bring it back to White Hart Lane. My other target over the summer is to bring in Micah Richards. If I can get him my defence will finally have a dominating Aerial presence at the back. For this reason alone I think we can challenge for the title. I am also seriously considering selling Tom Huddlestone. As he was extremely average this season. Will be looking for upwards of 17 Million however. Final Thoughts on the season Well I achieved almost everything I set out to do. Aside from the loss to Inter I would put the season down as a SUCCESS

Brilliant update Magik and well done on finishing 3rd. The UEFA cup final must have been a sore one to take though but beating Inter was a big ask. I never realised Berbatov scored that many goals in the game. He is amazing.

Yeah, tbh i like this idea more than a SOMS to be honest. This is where I will post all my save game news.
And Kova he is immense. He scores so many great goals as well. Little report. I signed Helder Postiga as a squad player on a free transfer. Also getting Aquino and a Brazilian regen. looking forward to the new intake of youth players the most though. Hoping for a "Leading player of his generation" this year

I think its brilliant when a young player gets dubbed the new *whatever*. I had a youth player come through on a game once and he was dubbed the new Maradona. As it goes he actually became rubbish but that was probably my fault for not giving him a chance.

If anyone doesn't know you can get Aguero for £20m and 50% sell-on fee,It always gets accepted for me anyway.I'm trying to get Mascherano aswell,I didn't get any updated database and Liverpool always play Sissoko in mine.

Just got my new youth intake. Watch the Youth player project over the next few days.
But a quick preview before I go to bed. The best of the new youth intake has been dubbed the new Paul Scholes. And one has been called the new Les Ferdinand. Off to bed. Night lads

Season 2011/12 Real Betis Spanish First Division Mid Season Report
Well last year I went the season unbeaten. The defence was brilliant only conceding 14 goals and Sergio Aguero added some guile upfront and Zeefuik was brilliant as my target man winning the clubs player of the year award. In the summer I added Garay to my already strong defence and got rid of Rafael Sobis to Roma for £17m even though he had been my top scorer for 3 of the last 4 seasons,In part because I had bought Aguero and also to reduce the wage budget. Some B team players were released and Mark Gonzalez went on loan to Middlesbrough as he was too injury prone and Kazenga Lua-Lua was ready for first team action. This season I was looking for European glory and after losing in the Uefa Cup to Roma in 09/10 I feel I need a European trophy to represent to show we are a top club.My formation last season was a 4-2-3-1 made up of GK-RB-CB-CB-LB DMC-DMC RM-CM-LM ST.Its quite a defensive system and we play on the counter attack away and against tough teams at home aswell. This Season League:Spanish First Division Media Prediction:Third My Prediction:Second Current Position:Third To say this has been a frustrating season is an understatement.2 defeats already in the league and to make it worse one of them was against Sevilla. We have lost games we have dominated regularly and upfront we have been inconsistent, beating some teams by 4 and missing sitter after sitter against others. In Europe this has happened alot and with one game to go I am currently 3rd in the group with 1 game left needing HSV to slip up against Lyon.Away to Hamburg we were the better team but lost and against Lyon I lost 2-0 when we completely outplayed them.It is a recurring theme for us being the better team and losing. We are still in with a shout for the league though Barca and Real look strong. One good thing this season is the emergence of youth player Lorenza Vega at CB my best scout says he's as good as Garay already-a leading First Division player.I also have Beevor a LB who is going to take the aging Grosso's place soon. Flickr Photo Download: League_Table Flickr Photo Download: Fixtures Flickr Photo Download: Vega Flickr Photo Download: Beevor Thoughts on Season so far Well its not been a great start.Aguero and Stancu have been too inconsistent and Zeefuik has been injured.Enyeama has not been as solid as usual and I am regretting sending Bouzanis on loan.At the back we are letting in silly goals ans in Midfield Javi Martinez has been OK and Van Der Vaart apart from set pieces has been crap. Some good news in the transfer market though as I am getting Mascherano in January for £9m and 50% sell on to bolster my midfield.I am trying to come up with a new formation as the current one isn't working as it was.I've been playing 4-3-3 recently but to no avail |

Great update Vamos well done. It was always gonna be a difficult season after going unbeaten in the league last season because your team set such a high standard to try and match and La Liga is a tough league. You are still keeping pace with Barca so a return to last seasons form could still happen.
Why did you change the formation that won you the league last season?
