Alaves knocked me out in the cup

Played 9 league games W7 D1 L1 including 6 wins in a row now, league results:

Alicante (A) 2-1
Las Palmas (A) 1-2
Tenerife (H) 1-1
Eibar (H) 2-0
Cordoba (A) 3-2
Alaves (H) 1-0
Ginastic (A) 3-1
Huesca (H) 3-0
Murcia (A) 1-0

Joint top with Salamanca, Zaragoza in 4th but only 3 points behind me, Rayo 3rd and 2 points behind.

I don't have a bogey team yet but if FM2009 is anything like 2008 then the derby against Atletico Bilbao is always a tough one. Think i came off worst in most of the games on 08.

Jack thats a brilliant run you are on mate well done. Winning 2 in a row is hard so to win 6 is fantastic. I'm gonna do a big update tonight (at work just now )

Made it 7 wins in a row But the board are only concentrating on that 1 loss - they told me they were upset with my performance on Nov1st, saying about that 1-2 loss which was in August?! GET OVER IT!

League Table after 10 games:

1st. REAL SOCIEDAD 25pts (+12 GD)
2nd. Zaragoza 22pts (+13)
3rd. Salamanca 22pts (+6)
4th Rayo 20pts (+4)
5th. Las Palmas 19pts (+9)

So it's really close but I'm in a good position. Top 3 goes up so I think if we can get a couple more wins in a row then we will start to pull away from the rest - I reckon me and Zaragoza will be fighting it out for the title.

Ha ha hilton how did that happen?? Do any of the players dislike each other?

Jack thats fantastic keep it going mate. I agree its VERY annoying when the board nitpick and mention a defeat when you are on a great run.

For the first time ever I've gone 3 games without winning 1 loss and a draw my team is falling apart and I now found myself 6 points of the pace just to recap the squad harmony is now 0% their not playing for each other and I think it's now taking effect.

Just drew 1-1 away at Sevilla Athletico (their first point).

Had Rivas sent off after 10 minutes, went 4-3-2 at got the goal only to concede in the 88th minute and then to have Kova hit the post in the 93rd.

hilton i would check to see if any of the players are unhappy with any individuals. If their is a common link then bin him in the reserves. It may of course be that they are unhappy with you and your comments to the media or team talks.

REAL SOCIEDAD 3 (Martinez 9, Rendla 15, Diaz de Cerio 94)
Zaragoza 2 (Oliveira 3, Arizmenida 39).

I have never punched the air so much. Diaz de Cerio you legend. 4points clear at the top.

Next up is Levante away which could be a tough one.

Drew 1-1 with Levante, was 0-1 until 80th minute levelled then hit the bar, had 2 goals dissallowed and their keeper saved everything! Thankfully teams below me all dropped points.

Table after 13 games:

1st. SOCIEDAD 30pts (+13)
2nd. Zaragoza 26pts (+16)
3rd. Tenerife 25pts (+7)
4th. Salamanca 25pts (+6)

It is great to see everyone doing so well.

I was not happy with my tactic at the start of the game either but I stuck with it and it seems to be paying off now. I got Atletico Madrid in the Quarter Final of the Cup and it was 1-1 at the anoeta. I could be in for a rough night in the second leg

Just picked up an 18 year old AML/FC by the name of Daniel Aquino for 1.5 mil upfront and 2.5 in 24 months. Coaches + Scouts say he is a quality signing, transfer to go through at beginning of next season.

I don't believe it 1-1 against Huesca and in the 85th minute i get a penalty up steps Xabi Prieto who has scored 5 out of 5 penalties so far this season i put it on 3d to watch and...6 points rugby style it was 10 miles over the bar now with seven games left I'm 4 points behind Zaragoza and joint with Tenerife 12 points clear of Las Palmas in 4th promotion is guarenteed but I want to win and that penalty kick could have cost me the title
