Default Arsenal Football Manager 2009

Hi folks i wonder if someone has any info on this. I just got an e-mail from Sega and one of the games advertised is "Arsenal Football Manager 2009". My question is - What is it??? Is it any relation to the game we know and love? I can't find any info online and any time i do find something my works computer blocks the site.

I'm just curious but apologies if it is actually no relation to FM2009 at all.

Cheers for that Niall. It surprised me a bit that SI would bother with this when so many people out there are making skins, facepacks you can download anyway but i suppose it will appeal to Arsenal fans who don't have the game but were planning to get it. I wonder if they are doing any other clubs?!

I've looked into it but at the moment just seems like Arsenal at the moment.

Could this be a new era for Football Manager

Could be a new era but still seems strange to me that they would do it as even if i was an Arsenal supporter i doubt it would add anything extra to the enjoyment of the game. Will be interesting to see if they advertise it on the tv.

I dont think that it is a very good idea. What would the difference be between going arsenal on the normal 09 apart from the skin and as kova said lots of people make up their own skins anyway

Its just a marketing plot. Miles said in the official thread on the SI forums that he plans to try and release a series of these at the same time as FM10

All well and good but on FM09 I'm never only ever one team - so if I went Man Utd it would be a bit crap with my Arsenal theme.

I am thinking , it probs wont cost anything to put the skin in there , so if they can get a few extra quid for barely spending anything , why not do it ?

I'm sure it's just a way of attracting new people or making the ones who like to be special buy it. xD

It's a bit like a Collectors Edition DVD/Game or something IMO.
