Leagues loaded: Argentina, Brazil, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, USA

Database: Official LosWonderkids 2009-2010 Update

Loaded all players from: Ecuador, Chile

I decided to start again because on my Senegal game after the World Cup, I found out that the only leagues I had loaded were Italy, Spain, England, Germany and Russia. So I started again with a wider range of leagues from all over the globe.

So my journey begins, as an unemployed ex-Sunday league footballer, the future doesn't look bright.

DOB: 23/05/1993
Nation: New Zealand

Here it is, my first job. A Czech Republican, second division team called Vlasim.

Background

Vlasim are a professional Czech club currently playing in the Druhá Liga. The club play their home games at Vlasim and possess fairly basic training facilities and a very basic youth setup.

Having enjoyed success as recently as 2008, Vlasim are a club with a growing history. Vlasim won the Czech 3rd tier for the only time in 2008.

Vlasim is a small town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The town has a population of just 12,000 people.

Chairman's Message

Vlasim Chairman Petr Wirth has welcomed you to Vlasim, assuring you that you can rely on the full backing of the club's board.

In terms of your contract with the club, you have been given a deal until Jun 2010 worth £950 per week.

Team Report

Jaroslav Majer believes that Vlasim will need to heavily strengthen their squad if they are to meet their expectations.

Majer feels that Vlasim don't really have enough strength in depth.

In addition to his team report, Majer has instructed the backroom staff to compile comprehensive reports on each member of the squad.

Majer believes Filip Stiburek to be one of the best players in the team at the moment and has picked out his coach report for you to have a look at.

My Thoughts

Wow, a lot of work is hard work will be needed for this club to challenge for promotion.
The team has just 12 players in the senior squad, so it will be difficult to sell, and if we do sell, we must replace those sold.
We have no goalkeepers, no left backs, no right backs, no right midfielders and no left midfielders.

Looks like I will have to call up some of the 14 year old players from the youth system.
This really does look like an impossible challenge.

Corlett Offered Canada Job

I also applied for the Canadian national job, surprisingly they offered me the job and accepted it immediately.

"The Canadian Football Association have named Vlasim boss Nathan Corlett as the new national coach."

"With Corlett set to divide his time between club and country, it remains to be seen whether a conflict of interests will emerge or whether he will cope with the additional pressures."

Expectations

Your employers at the Football Association expect you to be competitive during the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup but also expect you to keep half a mind on building for the future.

They wish to remind you that they are convinced of Canada's potential as a footballing nation and want you to nurture the country's young talent to fulfil this promise.

Great work nathan , Very neat and polished, Please keep up with the updates, Ive managed Canada before got them in the world cup, one problem with a Czech side though, i always seemed to struggle with Finances and scoring goals, but if you can get a striker to score a good amount a year, you should romp home

Keep it up Nathan, your a great member

September

Well at the end of August we were 1 spot above the relegation zone in 14th place, with 1 win and 4 losses.
This month, we just wanted to get a few more points to help for our fight to survive relegation.

Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Sokolov
Home/Away: Home
Final Score: 2-0 Win
Our Scorers: Herman, Balsanek
League Position: 14th
Final Thoughts: Glad we got this win under our belt at tha start of the month, a valuable 3 points.

Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Opava
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 0-2 Loss
Our Scorers: None
League Position: 14th
Final Thoughts: Can't complain really, a 2-0 loss is expected against a team predicted to do well.

Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Karvina
Home/Away: Home
Final Score: 1-1 Draw
Our Scorers: Herman
League Position: 12th
Final Thoughts: Pity we couldn't get a win here against one of our relegation rivals. But were up to 12th.

Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Trinec
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 0-3 Loss
Our Scorers: None
League Position: 14th
Final Thoughts: Disappointed with the performance against a team predicted roundabouts the same position as us.

Well we're 3 points clear of the relegation zone, so not exactly in the comfort zone. But we're on the road to survival. A pretty decent month with 4 points from 4 games.

Heres the table at the end of September:

Oh Canada!

Well, the Canadian FA's expectations are for us to be competitive in the World Cup Qualifiers aswell as looling into the future.
I have took a good hard look at our squad and removed any "past it" players and replaced them with young players which look to have a bright future. I have involved these in matches as much as I can, this month we played 3 Qualifiers:

Competition: Fifa World Cup Qual. North America - 2nd Phase
Vs: Panama
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 0-1 Loss
Our Scorers: None
Group Position: 3rd
Final Thoughts: Not so disappointed with the result, this was more of a test game to test the tactic and see how the team performed. Pretty good performance despite the scoreline.

Competition: Fifa World Cup Qual. North America - 2nd Phase
Vs: Guatemala
Home/Away: Home
Final Score: 7-0 Win
Our Scorers: Friend, Simpson, De Rosario x5
Group Position: 2nd
Final Thoughts: What a result! Was expecting a win but not a scoreline as high as this. Absolutely delighted with this performance.

Competition: Fifa World Cup Qual. North America - 2nd Phase
Vs: USA
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 4-2 Win
Our Scorers: De Rosario, Friend x2, Howard OG
Group Position: 1st
Final Thoughts: Another fantastic win against our close rivals, the press thought we would lose this one, and so did I after going 0-1 down at half time, but the lads showed great character to score 4 goals after the break and put us top of our group.

October

We Start this month 3 points above the drop zone in 14th place.

Expectation: Not really expecting anything great, much higher in the league than us.
Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Sparta Prague "B" (8th Place)
Home/Away: Home
Final Score: 2-2 Draw
Our Scorers: Muller, Kulig
Injuries: Silhavy (4 Weeks)
League Position: 14th
Final Thoughts: A valuable point against a team higher up in the league. Pleased with this.

Expectation: Hoping for a good performance, they are much stronger than us so not expecting a win.
Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Most (4th Place)
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 1-3 Loss
Our Scorers: Zacharias
Injuries: None
League Position: 14th
Final Thoughts: 0-2 Down at half time was too much for us to come back from, we got one early in the second half but couldn't finish the rest of our chances. Good performance though.

Expectation: Should challenge for some points in this game, not much better than us.
Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Hradec Kralove (11th Place)
Home/Away: Home
Final Score: 3-1 Win
Our Scorers: Kulig, Kratochvil, Hejdusek
Injuries: Nonce
League Position: 13th
Final Thoughts: A great performance that came along with a massive win. 3 points clear of drop.

Expectation: Not really expecting to come away with any points, but its possible for an upset.
Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Vitkovice (6th Place)
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 0-4 Loss
Our Scorers: None
Injuries: None
League Position: 13th
Final Thoughts: Poor performance, poor result.

Expectation: Hoping to some points from this, they've lost their last 2 games, hopefully we can make it 3.
Competition: 2. Liga
Vs: Hlucin (9th Place)
Home/Away: Away
Final Score: 2-1 Win
Our Scorers: Hejdusek, Kulig
Injuries:
League Position:
Final Thoughts: Get in there! Thought it was going to finish 1-1 after they scoredan equaliser in the 80th minute. But a great late move allowed us to get the winner through Kulig in the 91st minute.

Moved up 1 place in the league this week but only 2 points above the relegation zone, anything could happen. Did quite well this month though, earning 7 points from 5 games.

Bottom of the league looks like this:

Code:
| Pos | Inf | Team | | Pld | Won | Drn | Lst | For | Ag | G.D. | Pts |

| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 11th | | Usti nad Labem | | 14 | 3 | 6 | 5 | 12 | 18 | -6 | 15 |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
| 12th | | Dukla Prague | | 14 | 4 | 2 | 8 | 17 | 23 | -6 | 14 |
