The league is won so I wont mention it - apart from we just beat our cup final opponents Valencia 4-1 at home

The first leg in Germany was a tense affair. We dominated but their keeper had one of those days and it finished 0-0. First time this season we have failed to score.

The 2nd leg was incredibly close. I knew if Bayern scored we needed two so played a slighty more conservative tactic, trying to sure up the defence rather than go all out for the goal. The goal did ocme, on 42 minutes Paloschi got his 35th goal in his 41st start from a corner. We held on. WE ARE GOING TO THE FINAL!

In the other semi Man Utd and Liverpool drew 0-0 at OT (with 4 sendings off, 3 for Utd!) but Utd won 3-0 at Anfield so I will take them on!

Bojan just won player of the year with Ruben de la Red and David Silva 2nd + 3rd

This makes no sense to me.

If you ask me (not bias) Paloschi should get it just on the stats FM gives. He got the most MoM awards, has 27 goals so far in the league (7 more than the next player) and has the leagues highest average rating (7.57). Ther only stat Bojan appears in is goals, 17 this season. De la Red only appears once for his Pass completiion. And Davids Silva's only stat is the 12 assists (5th highest).

So I dont get it. But oh well :P

The Champs League final is in Madrid which will give us the edge, we always do well in Madrid

I play the Conservative away from home most times, and my normal tactic at home, with slight variations depending on opponents, all in the readme which you can download

I also have a couple of other versions I am working on but not confident enough to release yet.

Decided to finish this season, start as FC Utd and see what happens.

CUp Final:

Sociedad 3 Valencia 0

It was all over after 30 minutes at the Nou Camp, as early goal from a corner from ex Valencia player Ross Muir gave Sociedad the lead. Just 3 minutes later a 20 yard goal from Messi doubled it, and on 30 minutes another ex-Valencia employee Marquinhos struck after Saivet but him through. Valencia attacked 2nd half but Sociedad held firm.

Played a few games with Newport and now back to this. THe fact that I have about 60mil to spend (I reckon) in the summer brang me back

I've been beaten once this season, 2-3 at the Emirates. Only defeat.

I've used 2 variations of my 4-3-3 all season yes and also a really defensive one for the last 10minutes or so with a 1-0 lead which works really well.

I'm working on some more variations of the tactic for next season I think, a more defensive one and possibly a tactic that uses a AML, AMR with just 1 ST.

Leading Zaragoza 2-0 with 4 minutes to go, gonna be PLD35 W35 Scored 99 Conceded 12 if it stays like that...

I am using your tactic with 1 striker and AML and AMR. If you like I could try and perfect it and then you could download it try it for yourself and then when it is good enough you could release it

Real Sociedad today secured a glamorous treble beating Man Utd 2-1 in the final at the Vicente Calderon after extra time, with only Man Utd keeper Ben Foster preventing them from scoring many more. John Obi Mikel scored after just 38 seconds with a screamer, but immediately it seemed Sociedad were on top. Tevez was then sent off for hacking down Albiol whilst chasing the ball and it changed the game. Man Utd seemed happy to sit back and invite Sociedad on, and only a man of the match performance from Ben Foster kept it 1-0. Henri Saivet was injured at the break and replaced by Salvadore Foti, who in 25 league appearances this season has just 10 goals, rather than the 13 he got in 20 games last season. Sociedad always threatened and hit the post three times as fans began to wonder if it just was not too be. Despite Man Utd's player disadvantage you have to credit a Sociedad side who simply ripped Europe's best apart. Finally a Marquinhos run down the wing supplied a cross which eventually fell to Alberto Paloschi who tapped in for his 35th goal in his 48th start for the season after 84 minutes. In injury time defender Sand hit the post from a corner but the game was taken into extra time. Man Utd still showed little ambition and a flowing move of 1 touch passing which saw Foti, Marquinhos and Paloschi involved before setting up Camacho at the far post to send Sociedad fans into raptures. Try as they might, Sociedad held firm to win a stunning treble as Franklin was called a hero for a superb achievement.

Sociedad will hold a victory parade before finishing their season with a home game against Villarreal and a trip to La Coruna to face Depotivo. They have won all 36 league games so far in a truely insane season and Franklin wants them to win them all.
